The Diwali celebration at VMSDC was a grand success, thanks to the collective efforts of the Student Council and Fine Arts Club. The event was designed to promote unity, cultural awareness, and festive spirit among students, faculty, and staff.

Event Highlights:

1. Vibrant Area with Ring Decoration: The event commenced with an off-stage decoration competition, where students showcased their creativity through colorful ring decorations.

2. Diya Decoration: The Central Dome was illuminated with beautifully decorated diyas, adding to the festive ambiance.

3. Welcome Speech: Swathi, a student representative, delivered a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the celebration.

4. Dean's Address: Dean Sir addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Diwali and encouraging students to embrace the values of unity, kindness, and compassion.

5. Release of College Magazine: The Magazine Committee launched KAIDELOSCOPE 2024, edited by Dean Sir, Dr. Jayagandran, Dr. Ajith, Amirtha Lakshmi, Harishma (Editorial Secretary), and their team.

6. Cultural Performances: Students from all years showcased their talents through captivating dance performances.

7. Sweet Distribution: Traditional sweets were distributed to attendees, adding to the festive spirit.
