PROF.DR.SARAMMA MATHEW ORATION REPORT - 25/07/2023
 The Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College Alumni Association ( Salem
East) conducted the prestigious Prof. Dr.Saramma Mathew Oration delivered by
Prof .Dr. M.Vadivel Kumar,MDS, Associate Fellow, American academy of Implant
Dentistry at Founder’s hall , VMSDC , Salem on 25.07.2023 from 9.30 am to 11.30 am .
 Around 150 participants attended the oration which included interns, postgraduates ,
students and faculties of VMSDC.
 The program started with a prayer song . Welcome address was delivered by Dr.K.Vel
Krishna, President, VMSDC Alumni Association .
 Dr Maya Ramesh, Vice President, VMSDC Alumni association addressed to the
gathering about Prof.Dr.Saramma Mathew oration . Following that ,Pro Vice
Chancellor , VMRF DU and patron VMSDC Alumni association Prof. Dr.J Sabarinathan,
delivered the Patron’s address.
 Prof. Dr. R.Saranyan, Associate Dean – Academics introduction the orator to the
audience and then the dignitaries felicitated the orator Prof. Dr. M Vadivel Kumar .
 Prof.Dr.Saramma Mathew Oration was delivered by Prof.Dr.M.Vadivel Kumar on the
topic “Implants in Dental Practice – where are we today ???’. Prof.Dr.M.Vadivel Kumar
shared his clinical experiences and expertise with the audience and it was very
informative.
 At the end of the program , memento was given to our esteemed speaker .Vote of thanks
was given by by Dr.Priya.K , Secretary , VMSDC Alumni Association . The program
concluded with National Anthem .E-certificates was given to all the participants .
