ACADEMIC AWARDS 2022

The academic award ceremony for the year 2021- 2022 was held on 24 March 2023,
at Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College. The chief guest for the
program was Prof.Dr.N.R.Krishnaswamy, Vice Principal, Ragas Dental College and
Hospital.
Our Dean, Prof. Dr.J . Baby John enlightened the gathering with his words and Professor
Dr. Reena John, our Associate Dean, Research welcomed the gathering. The academic
report by was presented Dr.R. Saranyan, Associate Dean, Academics.
Our Chief Guest gave away the prestigious awards to the students along with the other
dignitaries. 100 different awards (88 awards for undergraduates, 5 awards for postgraduates,
4 awards for Dental Mechanics and Dental hygien ist and 3 awards for faculty) were
distributed.
After the presentation of awards, Academic director Prof. Dr. Sabarinathan felicitated the
gathering and Chief Guest addressed the gathering. The program was concluded with vote of
thanks by Dr. Rajathi followed by National Anthem.
