Department of Public Health Dentistry, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem along with Anbu Illam, Salem conducted Dental Screening and Treatment Camp for school children and public at St Vincent’s Home for Boys and Anne Marie Home for Girls at Adaikalapuram Village, Denkanikottai, Krishnagiri District on 02.02.2019 and 03.02.2019.
Dr. C. Bharath Senior Lecturer and 16 interns participated in the camp.
The importance of oral hygiene and tooth brushing techniques was emphasized to the school students and public. Oral hygiene instruction pamphlets and free toothbrush & toothpaste kit were distributed to all the students.

A total of 71 restorations and 55 oral prophylaxis were done for the beneficiaries
A total of 205 patients were benefitted from the program.
