CLINICAL SOCIETY MEETING – DEPARTMENT OF ORAL AND
MAXILLOFACIAL PATHOLOGY AND ORAL MICROBIOLOGY
Clinical Society meeting of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral
Microbiology was on 19th January 2023. It started at 9 am with presentation by second year post
graduate student, Dr. Sowndarya.S on ORAL SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA – A BRIEF
LOOK. It was followed by the presentation by Dr. Maya Ramesh, Professor and Head on
HISTOPATHOLOGICAL GRADING SYSTEM of Oral Squamous cell carcinoma and a Case
report of Excisional biopsy of Oral Squamous cell carcinoma reported by College of American
Pathologists ( CAP Protocol ) presented by second year post graduate student
Dr.Nandhinidevi.G. Dr. Indrpriyadarshini, Associate Professor conducted quiz for the interns
and certificate was awarded to the winner. Interns, post graduate students and faculty attended
the program and it was successful.
Associate Dean Research, Dr. Reena John graced the occasion and awarded the certificates for
the presenters. Dr. Archana, Assistant professor from Department of Periodontics was the
coordinator for the program.
