Department of Public Health Dentistry, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College along with Vinayaka Institute of Medical Sciences, Salem (VIMS) conducted Dental screening camp at Nehru Kalaiarangam, Salem on 09.02.2019.
Under the guidance of Dr. S. Venkata Lakshmi, Senior Lecturer and a team of 6 interns conducted the program.
The importance of oral health and its influence on the general health, significance of regular dental visits and instruction on tooth brushing techniques & ill effects of harmful habits like smoking, alcohol consumption was emphasized to the public.
A total of 63 individuals were benefitted from the program.
