Kids-Fest Programme Report 2022

We from the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry are glad to inform that we organised
kids’ fest 2022 on 8.12.22 at our college premises. Theme for this year was yellow. There were 76
Participants from 6 schools. The children were accompanied by the teachers. The schools include
Gugai nursery and primary school, Vinayaka Missions Annapoorni Schools, Sri Vidhya Bharathi Matric
Hr Sec School, Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Glaze Brooke Matric Hr Sec School and Jeeva Public

School.

We did mass topical fluoride application for all the children and an awareness presentation on the
oral hygiene maintenance and brushing techniques was given by the Post Graduates and they visited
our dental museum. We had some interesting fun games and competitions for the children like Draw

the tail, scoop the pong, smile competitions, drawing and essay writing.

The prizes were distributed by Dr. J. Baby John, Dean of Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental
college and President of Tamil Nādu State IDA Branch and Dr Saranyan R, Associate Dean,

Academics.
