White coat ceremony was conducted for the first BDS 2022-23 batch students as a part of DEEKSHARAMBH – Student Induction Program, on 16.12.2022(Friday). Dr Maya Ramesh, HOD, Dept of Oral Pathology & Member of Deeksharambh Task Force committee, VMRFDU addressed the students on the significance of White coat. Associate Dean, Dr R Saranyan made the students take the pledge. All the dignitaries and the I BDS student representatives lit the 5 lamps of  knowledge and wisdom, floating in the Holy bowl along with 5 white lotus representing the 5 duties, Responsibility, Altruism, Honor, Respect and Compassion. Dean, Dr J Baby John delivered the words of wisdom for the students. The words of gratitude were shared by Dr Diana Prem, First year Academic Coordinator.
