RAD – O – MED – 22

DEPARTMENT OF ORAL MEDICINE AND RADIOLOGY

The department of Oral Medicine and Radiology conducted RAD – O – MED – 22 on
29.11.2022 at Founders’ Hall, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College.
Dr Vijayaveeran.P.MD (Radiation oncology) working as Consultant Radiation
Oncologist was the guest speaker of the day. He presented on
1. Recent advances of imaging in head & neck cancers
2. Recent techniques & complications of radiation in head & neck cancers
Certificate was presented to the speaker by the Dean Professor Dr. J. Baby John,
Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College. An interactive quiz was conducted
by assistant professor Dr. A. Kumar and post graduate student Dr. Mohithan. S.
A total of 37 participants comprising of 10 staffs, 23postgraduates, 4 interns attended the
program. Certificate of attendance was given to all participants. Winners of quiz were
from KSR Institute of Dental Sciences & Research and Vinayaka Mission’s
Kirubanandhavariyar Medical College & Hospital.
