The clinical society meeting by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and
Endodontics was conducted on 07.12.2022 at Founder’s Hall on the topic “Endodontic
Emergencies – Troubleshooting”. The meeting commenced at 9.00 a.m. and ended at 10.30
a.m.
The first speaker Dr.Mithunraj, MDS, Assistant Professor, did a presentation on
“Endo – What? Where? When?”. The next speaker Dr. Thenmozhi, II nd year Postgraduate,
spoke on the “Management of Endodontic emergencies”. The third speaker Dr. Vaishnavi,
III rd year Postgraduate, did a peek into case reports on “Management of Endodontic
emergencies.” An interactive quiz was conducted by Dr. S. Arun.
The program was awarded 2 CDE points with TNDC approval no: 452/22.
Certificates were presented to the speakers by Dr. Maya Ramesh, Professor & HOD,
Dept of Oral Pathology. Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics,
Dr. Yadav also felicitated the speakers of the previous CSM by Pediatric and Preventive
dentistry, Dr. Sowndarya G., Dr. Aarthi and Dr. Reshma. Dr. Yadav also awarded the
certificate of appreciation to the winner of the MCQ Session Mr. Sanjay, CRI.
A total of 125 participants comprising 34 staff, 38 Postgraduates, and 53 Interns
attended the program. A certificate of attendance was given to all participants. Snacks were
provided at the end of the program to the participants. Feedback forms have been sent and
responses recorded.
The next CSM will be conducted by the Department of Oral Pathology in the month
of January 2023.
