DENTAL EDUCATION UNIT-FACULTY DEVELOPMENT AND REFRESHER PROGRAM - 16 th and 17 th November 2022 Dental education unit of Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College conducted a Workshop on Problem Based Learning as a faculty development program for the newly inducted faculty and faculty Refresher program for the already existing faculty members on 16 th and 17 th November 2022. Dr. Maya Ramesh, Professor and Head, Department of Oral pathology and Member Secretary of PBL Committee was the resource person. 63 faculty members attended the program. The session started at 9. 30 A.M with the introduction lecture on Problem Based Learning, second Lecture on Problem Construction followed by hands-on workshop which was followed by a lecture on how to facilitate PBL session for the faculty and a PBL Facilitator. The workshop went on upto 3.30 P.M. the dental education unit and the PBL committee help in the conduct of the workshop.
