Dental Engineering
An Inter Disciplinary course on Dental Engineering was organised by Vinayaka Mission's
Shankaracharyiar Dental college under the able guidance of Dean Prof Dr.J.BabyJohn for the
interns from 18/10/22 to 21/10/22. The course coordinator was Dr.B.Manovijay and resource
persons were Mr.R.Natarajan and Dr.J.BabyJohn.The students were enlightened on the
working principles of dental chair and various dental materials & instruments. They were given
tips and tricks for starting a dental clinic. On day three, students presented a presentation on
their dream dental clinic. The best clinic layout was awarded. On the final day students were
assessed from the knowledge they obtained at the end of the course and feedback was
received from them to further enhance the course.
