FREE DENTAL CAMP AT GOVERNMENT BLIND SCHOOL, SALEM

Department of Public Health Dentistry, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem along with Pierre Fauchard Academy- India Section conducted a Free Dental Camp and Oral Health Survey for Visually Impaired Children at Government Blind School, Salem on 09.09.2022.

Prof. Dr.J.Baby John, Dean, VMSDC, Salem inaugurated the dental camp and gave lecture on the importance of oral health and maintenance of oral hygiene.

Prof. Dr.Maya Ramesh, Head of the Department, Department of Oral Pathology gave lecture on various oral diseases and ways to prevent them.

Dr.C.Bharath, Associate Professor, Department of Public Health Dentistry and Dr.A.Anitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontology coordinated the Program.

A total of 8 interns participated.

A total of 34 visually impaired children benefitted from the camp.
