ORAL HYGIENE DAY CELEBRATION 2022
Oral hygiene plays an important role in the maintenance of individual health
and overall wellbeing. On the occasion of “National Oral Hygiene day”,
Department of Periodontology, organised an awareness and screening camp on
01/08/2022 at Salem new bus stand complex from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. The
program was presided by our Dean Prof.Dr.J.Baby John. Mr.S.D.Kalaiyamuthan,
Chairman of the Zonal Committee attended the event as a special guest. Our
Academic Dean and Head of Department, Prof.Dr.R.Saranyan felicitated the
special guest of the day. Free dental checkup was provided to the public and free
samples of tooth paste and mouthwash were also provided to all the people
attended the programme. Oral Hygiene awareness pamphlets were distributed to
the general public. A total of 64 participants, 5 staff members, 1 dental hygienist
staff member, 15 CRI students and 3 dental hygienist students participated in the
program.
