CLINICAL SOCIETY MEETING

DEPARTMENT OF ORAL MEDICINE AND RADIOLOGY

The clinical society meeting by the department of oral medicine and radiology was conducted
on 01/04/2022 at founder’s hall. The meeting was conducted from 9.00 am to 10:45am.
Topic: CBCT IN MAXILLOFACIAL IMAGING
The first speaker Dr. Ignatious Jeba Mary, first year postgraduate, presented on “Principles
and clinical implications of CBCT”.
The second speaker was Dr. Mohithan, second year postgraduate, and the presentation topic
was “CBCT in maxillofacial imaging-A case series”.
The next speaker Dr. Durgadevi. P, Assistant professor, presented on “Accuracy of CBCT in
measuring the bone density - A journal peek” along with demonstration on nerve tracing
using CBCT.
An interactive quiz was conducted for the interns by Dr. Durgadevi. P Assistant professor.
The programme was awarded with 2CDE points with TNDC approval (TNDC No.149/22).
Certificates were presented to the speakers by our Associate dean, Research, Dr. Reena
Rachel John.
The certificate of appreciation to the winner of the quiz session was awarded to Dr. Ramvel,
CRI by our Dean , Professor Dr. Baby John and HOD of Department of Oral medicine and
Radiology Dr. P. T. Ravikumar
A total of 118 participants comprising of 28 staffs, 28 postgraduates and 62 interns attended
the program. Certificate of attendance was given to all the participants. Feedback forms were
sent and responses received.
