As a part of DEEKSHARAMBH, White coat ceremony was conducted for the first BDS 2021-22 batch students on 19.03.2022(Saturday). Dr Vinola D, HOD, Dept of Pedodontics & Member of code of conduct committee, addressed the students on the significance of White coat. Associate Dean, Dr R Saranyan made the students take the pledge. All the dignitaries and the I BDS student representatives lit the 5 lamps of  knowledge and wisdom, floating in the Holy bowl along with 5 white lotus representing the 5 duties, Responsibility, Altruism, Honour, Respect and Compassion. Dean, Dr J Baby John deliverd the words of wisdom for the students. The words of gratitude were shared by Dr Diana Prem, First year Academic Coordinator. Dr Maya Ramesh, HOD - Dept of Oral Pathology graced the occasion with her presence. The program concluded with the National anthem. Refreshments were served for all.
