Women’s day celebration 2022
Women empowerment committee, VMSDC celebrated Women’s day program on
8th March 2022.
Program commenced at 2.30PM in Founder’s hall with the presence of Associate
Dean Research, Dr Reena Rachel John, Associate Dean Academics, Dr R Saranyan
and Women empowerment committee member secretary Dr.R.Madhumala along
with other faculties, students and nonteaching staffs.
Associate Dean Research, Dr Reena Rachel John addressed the gathering and
mentioned about the importance of Women’s day celebration.
Prof Dr.R.Madhumala, Member secretary gave the welcome address with a note on
why this day is celebrated.
Following the welcome address, speaker introduction was given by
Dr.T.B.Meenalochani.
Our guest speaker Dr.R.Anitha, M.PHIL,PhD, Director of Physical Education,
Government Arts And Science College, Idappadi gave a motivational speech on
the title “சாதிக்க பிறந்தவள் பெண் / சாதிக்க வா பெண்னே”.
After the inspirational speech, martial arts demo on silambam was done by
students of VMCPE and certificates were distributed to them.
The program ended with the words of gratitude by our interns Monisha and
Agalya.
The entire program was coordinated by Dr.Priyadeepalakshmi,
Dr.T.B.Meenalochani and physical education trainer Mr.Rajendiren.
