Faculty Orientation Program was conducted for the newly joined 11 faculties in the
Departments of Oral Medicine, Conservative Dentistry, Pedodontics, Prosthodontics,
Orthodontics, Public Health Dentistry and Periodontics.
The program started with introductory lecture by Dean Prof Dr J Baby John on 14 th August
2021, followed by Associate Dean Research, Academics and Student Affairs.
There were 3 lectures by Prof Dr Maya Ramesh, Dr Sabitha Gokulraj and Dr
Balamanikanda Sreenivasan on 15 th .
There were 3 lectures by Prof Vyapaka Pallavi, Dr B Manovijay and Prof Saravanan on 16 th .
Introduction to Administration, Academics, Research, Student management and Patient
management protocols of college were delivered to the new faculty through these
lectures.
Refreshments were provided for the participants and resource persons on all three days.
Feedback was collected on the program and on the speakers of all the 3 days.
