Value added course – GST for Dental practice for Interns and Post
graduate students were conducted online on 4 days through zoom app.
Mr Mammen Mathews and Ms Anthea Grace Mammen were the
resource persons for the course.
Principal Prof Dr J Baby John inaugurated the session online on 27 th
August at 9 am. Course co ordinator and moderator Dr Maya Ramesh
introduced the speakers to the participants.
Day 1 : Understanding Financials and
Day 2 : Business Plan for Dental Practice by Mr Mammen Mathews.
Day 3 : Income Tax and Relevance and
Day 4 : Goods and Service Tax by Ms Anthea Grace Mammen
26 students attended the program. After the class, doubts were cleared
by question answer sessions every day. Assessment was done online
through Google forms after completion of class on each day through
multiple choice questions. Notes were given by the guest speakers on the
four topics to the students
Feedback was collected from all participants after completion of the
course.
