Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge successfully conducted an INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR on 11.9.2020 with Dr M. Lovely, M.D.S, Ph.D. from Ras –Al-Kaimah Medical and Health Sciences University, UAE as the guest speaker. The webinar was conducted using Cisco WebEx Meeting Platform. We had 580 registrations.

The programme started at 10:00 am. The welcome address was delivered by Dr Jayashree Mohan, our beloved Head of the Department. This was followed by a brief note by Dr N Mohan, Vice- principal Academics and Dr J Baby John, Our Esteemed Dean. Mr Syed Mohamed, Director International Relations, and Dr J Sabarinathan, Director- Academics, VMRF DU also shared their thoughts with the audience. The Guest speaker Dr Lovely was introduced by Dr Sajida Begum. Entire webinar was moderated by Dr S Sunantha.

The speaker delivered an insightful lecture with numerous clinical tips to be applied in practice by dentists globally. The discussion included interesting case reports, TMD management strategies and Splints fabrication. She enthusiastically answered all of the participants’ questions which were moderated by Dr G Rajkumar. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Ramesh Raju at 12:30 p.m.
