NSS SPECIAL CAMP 2023-2024 (RAKKIPATTI PANCHAYAT VILLAGES)
NSS unit of VINAYAKA MISSION’S SANKARACHARIYAR DENTAL COLLEGE, SALEM conducted 7 days SPECIAL CAMP for the Academic year 2023-2024 at Rakkipatti, Panchayath Villages, Veerapandi Union, Salem District from 20.02.2024 TO 26.02.2024
First day inaugural function was held at Rakkipatti panchayat at 11.00 am. Ms.Anumitha Rajan NSS volunteer delivered the inaugural address for the Academic year 2023-2024
Thiru.Krishnan President of Rakkipatti Panchayath, Prof.R.Saranyan, Associate Dean (Academics)VMSDC, Dr.S.Gokulakannan, NSS coordinator VMRF (DU) and Dr.N.Saravanan Professor and Head, Department of Public Health Dentistry inaugurated the camp and delivered speech about the NSS Special Camp. 50 NSS volunteers participated.
The following activities were conducted;
Day 1: Inaugural function
Day 2: Dental Camp and Rain Water Harvesting Program
Day 3: Health awareness and Medical Camp
Day 4: Road traffic awareness and No Tobacco awareness program
Day 5: Nutrition and Plastic awareness
Day 6: Swatch Bharat Clean India awareness and Dengue awareness program
Day 7: : Validictory Function
