REPORT OF GURU DAKSHTA , FACULTY INDUCTION PROGRAM

                                                                        MODULE -3

TEACHING , LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT

Day 1 of module -3 began with an inauguration at Founders Hall, were Dr.J.Baby John, Dean,VMSDC welcomed the participants from Dental, Pharmacy, Homeopathy and Physiotherapy colleges of VMRF DU and addressed the gathering on the importance of teaching, learning and assessment. The first Lecture was delivered on Introduction on teaching and learning by Dr.SabithaGokulraj, followed by Dr.IndraPriyadharshini on Concepts of learning & lesson plan, Dr.Saramma Mathew on Pedagogy, Dr.Muruganantham and Dr.Ruby on Effective classroom and the concluded with the brainstorming hands on session by VMCP TEAM. Day 2 began with a lecture on problem based learning Prof Dr. Maya Ramesh of VMSDC followed by workshop on problem based learning. On Day 3 a lecture was given by Dr.S.Sunanthaon assessment followed by a lecture byDr.C.Balamanikandasrinivasanon OSCE.The lecture was followed with aHands on Workshop on OSCE. All the participants were dedicated and eager to learn through the entire module.The end of day -3 of module -3 concluded in a very happy note with Prof.Dr.N.Mohan,Associate Dean giving the concluding remarks.

The entire program of module three was guided by Prof.Dr.J.Sabarinathan, Director academics, VMRF and coordinated by the coordinators of module 3 Dr. SabithaGokulraj, Dr.S.Sunantha, Dr.Indirapriyadharshini, Dr.Saramma Mathew and Dr.C.Bharath.
